What will I do?

Based in our Reykjavik office, we are seeking a talented and passionate UI / UX Designer to join our team, who will be responsible for driving visual experiences across our new mobile app and other projects. 

You will help to spearhead the company through its most exciting scale-up phase and be working closely with our product, marketing and engineering team to launch truly immersive applications for sports fans around the globe. As the UI / UX Designer you will oversee and be part of a variety of projects, collaborating with members of cross-functional teams to conceptualise, prototype and design usable, useful and beautiful user interfaces.

Responsibilities will include

  • Create and refine the visual design for our interfaces and digital products.
  • Create UX artefacts such as sketches, wireframes, customer journey maps, user flows and interactive prototypes.
  • Evaluate and set best practices and visual design standards.
  • Design useful, usable, and desirable interfaces while considering research findings, business goals and requirements.
  • Create and manage a unified, flexible design system for our digital products.
  • Work with the marketing team on branding and website design.
  • Being aware of new UI / UX trends in the industry and having excellent design standards.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of experience as a UI Designer, Product Designer, Visual Designer or Interaction Designer within a large-scale consumer-facing organization, digital agency or media company.
  • Broad experience in designing web and mobile apps and the ability to create lightweight prototypes for testing.
  • Have the ability to understand complex user flows with numerous variables and impacts.
  • Deep care about aesthetics and a great eye for layout and visual design in general.
  • A strong track record backed by an outstanding portfolio showcasing the latest works.
  • Strong knowledge of best practices for mobile design, usability principles and techniques.
  • Motivated for self-improvement with an all-in attitude.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English (written and verbal).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
